The steel will be inspected by spectrograph when delivered into our factory    If the tested chemical compositions are not consistent with the steel certificate All will be returned back to the steel company .


3. The quality of grinding steel balls is directly related to raw materials. Elements matching plays a key role in steel performance. Even the same grade steel will also differ due to the difference of equipment, technology and quality control capacity of steel mills. The middle and small sized suppliers are not able to control the quality stability of raw materials because of unequal status in negotiating. And the limited detecting instruments are difficult to ensure the accuracy of the material re-inspection as well.


4.  Production

Prodution by Labor Air hammer

≥Dia 70mm grinding balls , we suggest customer choose the forging balls . As the big size balls , Via forging technique by air hammer (above picture ) . Heating of the steel rods then forging

repeatedly by the air hammer . Because suffer the external force many times ,so the interior   density will increase and grain refinement , so the toughness of balls will be improved . Better toughness and big size grinding balls will be not easily broken. Via our special heating

treatment . the core and surface hardness will be improved .

By forging technique , our customer will get the better hardness and toughness grinding balls . Which will save mining money with better wearing rates and nearly  "0" broken rate .

So the big size balls especially in the SAG , must guarantee the balls toughness and impact value , avoid the broken balls .

Case1 : Our customer from USA ( Virinasteel ) get report about the ME ( one big grinding balls supplier in USA ) products. Their big size balls are lower core hardness (about 51HRC). So it   means they possibly use hot rolling machine to produce >90mm balls )

Case2: Gold mining in Europe since 2013, 100mm & 125mm Grin idng balls both are Forging by Air hammer . From 2017 , the broken rates are 0-0.5% . Especially in 2018 . the whole year orders are “0” Broken rate.

Larger production capacity than Forging balls Suitable for 25mm-70mm Small size balls .

Round Steel via Hot rolling machine , directly to Round grinding balls , the small external force so the internal structure change little.

Toughness and impact value will be lower than forging balls.

If the raw materials( round steel ) have no enough compression ratio , the produced grinding balls will have worse toughness and impact value.
