Product Introduction 

Our high performance microalloyed grinding steel balls are professional customized products for 3.2m-5m large and medium sized 

cement mills, adopting unique ultra-fine grain refinement technology and multi-element microalloying formula (adding Nb, Mo, Ni,V alloy elements). The products has 50% higher impact toughness, ultra-low breakage rate( <0.8% for large mills). Uniform hardness (2HRC difference between surface and volume), excellent anti-spalling and super  corrosion resistance , fully adapting to high-load grinding conditions, reducing customer maintenance costs and improving production efficiency).

1. Application Field :

In recent years, with the upsizing of ball mills worldwide and the increasing use of large ball mills in mines, there is a great demand for large-diameter wear-resistant steel balls, and the demand is increasing year by year. The main advantage of using large-diameter wear-resistant steel balls is to improve the grinding efficiency.Wear resistant steel ball in production loss is very large, in the process of use in the ball mill by repeated impact and material extrusion, so the macro failure of large diameter ball mainly wear, peeling, out of round, broken, etc..Before, austenitic manganese steel, low alloy steel casting ball, chromium alloy cast iron ball, wear-resistant cast iron and other wear-resistant materials in industrial production is more common, but have not been able to well solve the hardness and toughness of grinding ball, hardenability and alloy element content of these two contradictions.Hardness is usually high and low toughness, high crushing rate;The high content of alloy elements improves the hardenability, but increases the cost.


2. QC System


A. Each order will be attached one Quality Assurance document


B. The heating number on the steel label will be painted on the packing drums of grinding balls Each batch steel will have different heating number . The chemical composition of grinding balls must be consistent with steel chemical composition range


C. We have special department of QC teamwork .The QC department director have 10 years experience in this industry . The team is responsible for inspection during production , inspection before delivery .( Surface and core hardness test each day each batch and all will be recorded and filed in documents ) . The inspection worker will sign by himself in the document and who will be responsible for this if there is any problem in future


D. SGS or other third party inspection company in the loading port


3. Packing System


Bags: Balls can be supplied in woven bags , 1000kgs per bag,on the Pallets and effort in loading and unloading.


Steel Drums: grinding balls to be packed in steel drums with openable top (with threads),drums packed on pallets made of heat treated wood or plywood, two drums per pallet.


4. Warehouse System


A. Stock Raw Materials will separated by the Marking Panel ( Indicate the Steel No. Steel Label with heating number tracked by Steel certificate .   B. Stock Grinding balls will packed in steel drums damp-proof with shipping mark ( Size, Steel No. Production date and inspection report )


5. QC before loading on board System A. QC before loading on board is the second inspection ( First is inspection during production ) by our company B..SGS or other third party make in inspection in loading port before loading on board .


6. After Sales service System

A. We will collect all the information of mining condition , include ball mill or SAG size , Ore type Ore properties or ore output per day and etc.. According these information , we will record in file . and provide the suitable grinding balls reach to the premium performance . Tracking 6 months data from mining each ball mill .


B. Feedback from minging about the Wearing rates and Cracking rates If there are cracking or cracking % out of limits, Technique worker must communicate with mining responsible workers ( information about Ore hardness ,output per day and etc..) Analysis the cracking problems. If grinding balls quality problem , factory must make up grinding balls at our own cost on the fastest delivery time ) Any serious cracking problems leading to the ball mill or SAG accident or delay the mining normal production . We will accept the claims via negotiation with mining


C. Long term strategic relationship with mining and aim to help mining to improve the wearing rates . Maximize the grinding efficiency . ( Adjust grinding balls hardness or heating treatment method)
